Sugar And Spice - Ridgewood

Know what you want ahead of time because the menu is only on overhead boards which are hard to see from where the line is formed. There are NO prices listed on the menu boards.At least 6 tables that ordered after we did were served and we still had no food. I finally had to go to the counter to see what happened to our order. 15 minutes later our food came out with a muttered, "Sorry about that. "The sandwiches were mediocre and the soup was tepid.It was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant.Not sure how this place gets good reviews. Panera is the same model of service (order and pay at the counter and food is brought to your table) but much better.

I Met 2 of the managers from sugar and spice and they were a cool couple and made me want to come back after i got out from school.Seems like the place closed soon after or they only host events there now. Such a shame that it couldn’t stay open

I AGREE with Marcia. I was outside the restaurant a few days. LOUD music was being broadcast outside. Let those of us in the vicinity have their peace. You are not a deejay and the sidewalk is not your club.

Good food. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. Will be back.

The place looks very interesting, and the food might be good too, but the laugh music by the door pushed us way. I hope their fix this minor issue so we can try it.
