Catalina's Kitchen - Ridley

My fourth time there. Ordered chili verde burrito wet. First of all there is no gravy over the burrito but a vinegary tomatillo sauce around it and 12 wide strips of sour cream across the burrito. I had a couple of bites and the meat was dark brown and dry. Called the manager over and he told me that is how they make them. I said this is not what we have had 3 times before with carnitas and this sauce . Never a tomatillo sauce. After 3rounds he still insists so I gave up. Why order a chili verde burrito if it's going to be carnitas. Sorry, customer is alway right or at least upset so you pacify them, not argue. I won't go back.

Delicious food! I had the taco plate with asada for the meat. My husband had the chimichanga with carnitas. Very friendly service. We sat outside because our pup was with us. So yummy!!! We will be back!

Birria taco was good. Chorizo breakfast burrito was really dry but sauces make it easier to eat. Coffee better than Dutch. Ladies were nice but service was not great. Only got checked on after I paid. Bussed my own plates.

Got carnitas burrito. It was so salty. It tasted like the carnitas were old and they tried to over flavor it hide that. They were also super dry. The service was ok but they never came and asked if we needed anything else or refill our drinks. I see some good reviews so maybe it was an off day.

Plenty of parking, so we thought let's give them a try, it's lunch time. We had heard they served Papusa's. I really like Papusa's, in El Salvador, it has been declared the national dish and has a specific day to celebrate it. My Wife ordered Chicken Quesadilla's, and I ordered two Papusa to go, and it came with Curtido (Salvadoran Spicy Slaw). Everything was wonderful. I'm thinking best ever Papusa, and the Quesadilla were enough for Lunch and Dinner!
