The restaurant is beautifully furnished, creating a welcoming ambiance. It might be the preferred place to enjoy a beverage. The waiter is a very friendly and helpful lady who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. She deserves recognition for her service.However, the food I ordered was extremely disappointing. When you pay R120 for a hamburger and chips, there's an expectation. The food was dry, and the cheese sauce, which surely seemed to be made from cheese powder, didn't contribute much. Besides the unappealing presentation of the food, the chips weren't fresh-cut potatoes but rather store-bought chips. Perhaps the owner should advertise it as such. It was not a pleasant experience, and I doubt I will visit the place again. Maybe for coffee or a drink, as I have done in the past, but nothing more than that. Considering the quality offered, the place is excessively expenssive and over priced. I compare it to most restaurants in Riebeeck and the surrounding area.
