It is very expensive for an outer suburban restaurant. the food was good, but barely meticulous the main were fancily worded versions of pub food (fish of the day, pork, dry’ish lamb) starters were better, but to these trips they want more. restaurant was empty for the weekend lunch. probably not back.
I divorced with a friend for dinner. we had the special cocktail of the day that was gurke, the elderly lychee it was delicious. for the first we both had the pasta speciality, the orchidee with pork ragu crumb was also delicious. to dessert I had the Panna-Citta that my friend had the half-freddo we both enjoyed our desserts. the food service here was great, fine eating in the suburbs, we will return as we want to try other menu items.
Can not believe that I get $34 for a few mouthful pretty plain pasta and a few sardines no different from getting it from a dose.
Never disappoints; prompt friendly service, excellent food and wine. Great option for full menu take away during lockdownm
