Tarnation Tavern has THE BEST food in River Falls . My husband and I especially love the Chicken sandwiches. They are all great. Our favorites are the Ghost chicken and spicy BBQ chicken sandwiches. Give this place a try. You will be happy you did!! Oh, and the mac-n-cheese is life changing!! Heather

The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.

Good atmosphere. Fair beer prices. Beer had a black fleck but no biggie just pick it out. The food comes out and there 's an awkward silence at the sight of the tiny lonely portions spread out on the tray. The servers anything else? Yeah I 'm wondering the same thing my guy. Tiny chicken filet had a nice golden color, but the first bite instantly had the familiar rubbery texture of old or undercooked chicken. Looked white all the way through, but the texture and a flavorless pink juice dripping really had me hesitant the whole meal. Menu said 9.99 but I got charged 12.99.

Fresh hot food and beer in an ice cold glass! Perfect!

Wing special. Got 8 wings that were little in size and overcooked. Someone else at my table ordered the same and got 12 bigger wings. The server was slammed and didn't appreciate me pointing it out. Oh, well. At least I know the Nashville hot chicken is the go-to.
