Bidra med feedbackFast friendly restaurant closes at 11 pm and our party got there by 10:30. Staff did not rush us and we stayed a little over an hour.
Always delicious food and drink. Consistent service. Great live jazz and easy sophisticated atmosphere.
We live in an age of PE buy outs. The group that bought this place must know the food courtesy business very well. Ambiance was clean and unique. Probably the best chicken pot pie I've had in a long time. I will visit again.
I have taken guests to Stanford Grill approximately 10-12 times. Have always had a great experience with both the service and food. Tonight was the first time I went since the new owners. Service was fine.. However both the soup and the fish that I ordered was subpar. Mushroom soup was well presented but ENTIRELY to SALTY!! The sea bass was horrible... thin filet that was overcooked and must have been sitting on the pick-up area to long. I did mention my concerns to the waitress and she reported it.. I wasn't looking for a free meal, but did get comped a glass of wine. Just wanted them to know... sadly , am not sure this will be my go to place anymore.
Same place, new name. Glenwood's appears to us to be almost identical to the Stanford Grill which used to occupy this same building. Even the menu looks very similar (though we may vey well be wrong). Good quality American cuisine, We went with friends and all four of our mains were great. The menu is a bit small but that seems to be a new thing with higher-end restaurants. And it's fine. The waitstaff was great. Very attentive but no overly so. Literally our only complaint is the noise level. High ceilings, Uncovered floors. Big busy crowds. And some nice live music from the front. While it was all great, it was difficult to talk to each other. But this is definitely NOT deal breaker. Highly advise getting reservations as, like its predecessor, it's busy. We'll be back!
