Mr.fish&chicken - River Rouge

The service is incredible. Super friendly staff. The food is out of this world. I ordered whole wings and fires and it takes them less then 20miniutes to get the food ready.overall incredible place highly recommended.

The most slowest delivery ever!! Tells me 30 min I call back for them to pick up the phone and set it down... then I could hear another phone ringing and they pick up and take an order... so I hang up to call back again and I get a guy tells me no it's an hour and wall I was waiting what you know it's 5 mins form an hour ago and then I ask so in 5 min I get my food no another 20 35 min... so an hour and half.... After I was told 30 min... this is the worst experience ever... not from here and have to say poor customer service... wish I could give a star... thanks for wasting my time.... Not Lgbtq friendly!! They called me back trying to say it was the delivery person not the restaurant.. um they took the order... then I get called sir over and over to where I had to tell him that's cool your driver is a she so she gets called a she but yet I'm transgender and yet I get called sir... then offers me free food for his mistake and then tells me I have to pay for half of it then tells me they they are no longer severing food...

We usually get this food from the LP location, and will do that from now on. We were very busy so I tried delivery, and it was VERY late. Over an hour! After I called, they brought it and the gentleman said I 'm sorry, we just got the order 15 minutes ago. I could accept that technology doesn 't always work, but if that is true, why did the restaurant tell me it had been ready but there was no driver? More importantly, why was all the food cold? If it was only made for 15 minutes, wouldn 't it be hot? I asked for sauce on the side, but it was all over the now soggy (and small) wings, with no way to re crisp them. Squeezing the tale off the shrimp caused oil to literally drip onto the plate, which means it wasn 't hot enough when cooked and the shrimp soaked it all in... Cold and greasy fried food could possibly be overlooked, but not when added to what appears to be an outright lie.

I'mma let the pics show you what I'm talking about! I tried the location on Fort Street last year and my complaint was the wings were small very small so this time I used door dash (which I shouldn't have this time because they had crappy service this time) to order from the Jefferson location hoping and praying it was better. I've seen pics from a fellow Yelper that I also follow on Instagram and his food always look delicious and he don't get little pieces of chicken. It sounds like to me you gotta know somebody to get a decent size wing from them! These chicken wings was so horribly little they shouidnt have been cooked, they were dried out the meat was dry and brown the bones got black spots on them from being over cooked or either old. I had taken Fish and Chicken out to cook but was feeling real messed up after dialysis and couldn't cook this is why I ordered door dash for this place and it was a freaking waste! I ordered Fish, Shrimp,Chicken they don't tell you one of your pieces of fish is half off of another piece of fish then you get a little piece that appears to be a whole piece but it's little, the fish was just ok not bad just ok. The fries I hate them I didn't want them anyway but it came with the meal the shrimps they are over cooked and tough like dried out darn it my food taste like it's been under a heating light for hours! I also ordered fried Okra like a darn fool and that was like adding fuel to an already fire! They give you so much of it in a small order if it was good I could feed at least 3 people with it. I'm pretty pissed about my food because nothing but the fish and fries that I didn't want was edible! 17.00 in Total Including door dash price plus tip that my driver didn't deserve because he was asked to bring my order to my door BECAUSE I was extra not feeling good from dialysis and didn't have street clothes on and for the first time a door Dasher calls me telling me he can't bring my food up well why are you doing this job it's called door dash for a reason oh well he tricked himself out of cash five dollar extra tip! So completely done with both or all locations of this place I gave them a second chance it didn't work out. The only way I'll eat this again if the guy I follow on Instagram( and you know who you are sir) orders my food for me I think he got clout at this place because his chicken dont be looking little like mines. If I sound pissed I'm highly pissed off today I'm tired of spending good money for crappy food! I'm going to start cooking the day before dialysis so I don't encounter this BS anymore!
