Taqueria San Jose - Riverbank

Food was great! It was hot and fresh. Only downside was I chose shredded chicken in a quesadilla and the chicken was very wet, maybe its stored in the cooking juices. But it made the bottom tortilla very soggy. Still tasted great though! Just a bit messy.

I loved how they packaged my tostada!! Nothing was soggy and all delicious!

Last month I came on the way home from the VA. Eat a chili verde super Burrito. Got the burrito, was in a hurry and didn't tip. Open it on the way home, IT WAS HUGE!!! A few bites, wasn't disappointed. The Burrito was OUTSTANDING/ PHENOMINAL!!! Had almost all eaten when I came home. I'm back here, and this time I could really type -perfection~!

Really disappointed ?. Chili relleno was barely eatable. Refried beans were old and looked like dried out Rosarita refried beans, (Rosarita refried beans would have at least been eatable). The Mexican rice was old an funky. My wife ordered the shredded chicken enchiladas, she only took two bites and refused to eat any more. Every thing was old and YUCKY ! I Would not recommend it. There was at least one ounce of water in the bottom of my plate too. Thursday night March 3, 2022 5 pm. Wasted $48 Dollars...

They have a really good cabbage, pickle, salsa that is so refreshing that I could just eat that alone with nothing else.The food was yum and the prices are about average for a taqueria. I liked that it was open early in the morning because sometimes you just feel like a burrito for breakfast.
