Red River House - Riverwood

We walked in to the restaurant and thought we were in China, the restaurant was full and we didn't think we could get a seat. With in minutes we were seated and looking over a Menu with about 80 items. It was so had to pick what to eat I had BBQ Pork Ribs, Oh! So yummy! My wife had Chicken Chow mein, it was just as good.What was more surprising was the price, all less than $20. I was staggered, the quality of the food was so good and the price so low.This a restaurant I will definitely be giving an other go very soon.

The Red River is a fast food style restaurant where you order at the counter, then help yourself with free tea and water sort of place. The place is clean and can get quite crowded at meal time. The dishes were large in portions and very reasonably priced. The menu is extensive with all sort of yummy food, mostly Cantonese (BBQ pork, beef hor fun etc), and many popular Singaporean hawker dishes as well (hai nan chicken, Singapore noodles etc). Yummy food and never disappointed.

This place does the simple things really well. The environment is nice, food tasty and for a short stay business lunch, the prep time is spot on. In an area with not many options, this is a good one. I'll be back.

Looked all over for somewhere doing a deep fried soft shell crab locally, no luck so settled on this place for a takeaway to pick up. Meal well cooked on time and huge portions and very tasty however when I spend over $120AUS on a meal I expect to get at least a complimentary bag of prawn crackers but no,free plastic forks as much use as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest

This is one of my locals, good selection to pick from and food is served quickly. Some dishes are better than others but glad to have this so close to home.
