Bidra med feedbackThe service at this restaurant was very poor. The food was average, but the service was terrible. An American and his wife received better service, possibly due to my appearance. However, the server missed out on good tips because of what I witnessed. I recommend avoiding this place and finding somewhere else to eat.
On August 11th, my wife and I had dinner at Le Rialto Italian Restaurant in Hotel Universel in Riviere du Loup, Quebec. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday night, with two waitresses working. My wife ordered the smoked salmon and shrimp dish which consisted of cream sauce, Matane shrimp, smoked salmon, shallots, capers, and Parmesan cheese. I chose the Sailor Lasagna, a seafood and marinara sauce lasagna served with a Caesar salad. We enjoyed a half liter of white La Sablette wine with our meal. The presentation of our plates was excellent and the food was delicious, earning our meals a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. While the restaurant shows great potential and the food was tasty, the service we received that evening was just okay.
Omg, please be careful that this restaurant is falling! the prizes are crazy, I ordered a bavette at $30 and I get honest a piece of sweat as meat! the presentation is spectacular to hide the shame of the plate! not recommended!.
After a short wait in the bar we sat in the dining room. our four-headed party was looking forward to italian and really hungry. we ordered the escargot and the drinks and both arrived quickly. the escargot was placed in a sturdy baked dish. with a strange sauce that was pooled around her. while it looked fascinating, the nailed soße relatiw was tasteless and the baked overpowered the escargot. the four of us agreed that the court was a disappointment. our escape followed, huh scallopini, the risotto, kalbsalm and the gamberetti with huhn instead of kalb. the risotto itself was very salty. the accompanying garnels were not seasoned. the calvesal arm, gamberetti and scallopini were overboiled, possibly forgotten under a heat lamp? the pasta that was accompanied was crispy and melted to the plate. the garnels that accompanied the gamberetti were so small that there were almost recognizable salat garnels? on the bright side our server was very nice and attentive. we all agreed that we would not eat here again. it is a scandal because the atmosphere is beautiful, the personal is friendly and there are potential for this restaurant.
My Bf and I had dinner here. the breads basted was weird, feel just like from grocery store. My BF’s dish was ok, but my sea food risotto was incredible salty, I have to complain even though I don’t want my food back to kitchen,...but this is 34$ dish and not possible to eat! Chief said can fix it, and I agreed, what a bad decision! I don’t know how he fixed it, better but still salty. I only eat sea food and didn’t touch rice at all. The waitress saw that I am not happy, but she didn’t even ask, didn’t even try to compensate. Very disappointed. Certainly not coming back.
