Bidra med feedbackCraving for some dim sum and we ended up in chinatown philippines! my first time there with my husband and friend. we were trying to find one and asked people somehow they don't know what dimsum is, then we went inside a chinese jewellery store and asked where to go and pointed us to walk through ongpin street and we'll find MEisum teahouse and another place next to it I forgot the name. The place looks exactly what it looks like in malaysia and singapore. Uncles and Aunties chatting while eating dimsums. We ordered a lot of them and really satisfied with the service and food was amazing! ON THE BLOG NOW: TAUYANM Insta: JANE FASHION TRAVELS
As another graveyard shift had passed, my office mate and I we’ve been wanting something invigorating so we decided to explore Ongpin. But before our foodventure started we had a mini field trip in the temple, prayed and we did some Buddhist rituals it was pretty accurate though since some of those had happend. After that we dine in Mei Sum Tea house we ordered the perfect combos, Wonton Beef Mami, Chicken mami noodle, two bun Asado siopao and Siomai, I was delighted by the service, food taste and their price.
There were a few occupied tables when we came in on a Sunday afternoon. Hot tea was served after a few minutes. We ordered Hakaw, Pork Siomai, Asado Siopao and Fried Dumplings. The service is not that prompt. We had to ask them for service water and table napkins. Our total bill was 369 Pesos.
Me and my family favorite place.. we love dim sum choices.... very friendly and accommodating crew's not too affordable but it's worth it after all..
It's my first visit here and everything we tried exceeded our expectations. We ordered Miki Bijon, Beef Brisket, Hakaw and Sweet n Sour Pork. All tasted really good and has the distinct Chinese taste. Price is affordable and the place is clean. Staff and a guy who looked like probably the son of the owner were friendly. Just a friendly reminder, if you don't want to pay extra, don't use their wet tissue. :
