We went to Dahican to celebrate my son’s bday and this restaurant was no. 1 in my go-to-list since I’ve read a lot of positive reviews. Lo and behold we were soooo disappointed with the food we ordered. Actually we just ordered 2 dishes: sisig and breaded porkchop; and 1 dessert: halo2. The sisig was a jaw breaker. It was hard to chew. The breaded porkchop was . We weren’t able to finish the food. My son didn’t even want to eat at all. The sisig price was almost the same as Gerry’s Grill but Gerry’s serving size was more generous. Their halo2 had few ice, the nata de coco tasted like it’s almost spoiled. There were lots of kaong and none of the usual halo2 ingredients. The place was spacious. We went there at 11am. A lot of people came there to eat so we were expecting their food to be delicious. The staffs were friendly and accomodating. Service time was between 15-20 minutes coz we were among the first customers. It’ll definitely be my first and last time to visit that place. This is my own opinion and experience. Maybe some of their other dishes are not as disappointing as those we’ve ordered.
If you’re looking for a restaurant to dine in, the Lokal is the best option. Their menu satisfies any type of cravings. I was craving for seafoods and pork, and they didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend their baked scallops and and lechon kawali! The resto is a bit overcrowded during weekends. But don’t worry. The staff will accommodate you.
Store staffs are friendly. Foods are cheap and delicious and coffee just enough to satisfy the wanting. Most cheapest resto in the dowmtown of Mati City. But they are up to 8 p.m. service only. Night life in Mati City is sleepy. When you feel hungry beyond 8 p.m. learn to starve once in a blue moon. Kid-friendliness: Yes a bit wide in space inside fits barkada group, family and ready chairs for kiddies. More space in the interior room for dinners. Parking: Wide parking space all the time. Wheelchair accessibility: I have not seen .
