Craft Vine Taproom Eatery - Roanoke

Drinks and food were great. Service was a little slow for such an empty restaurant and employees standing around laughing. Felt a bit dirty. Menus should be wiped down, they had food particles attached. Also, too many menus, a bit awkward for the table side.

So don't be sure what happened to this place. Even best burgers in the city, hands down, but bar tender could not even have a Tequila /Soda! Not! Service was subpar and food took out forever. It was a 3-hour dinner for Burger! It was hard and we have two children with us. I hate to say it, but we can't go back and have this same experience for the price.

Good eclectic atmosphere. Wide range of ages and groups of people. Drinks were awesome. Food was excellent.

My only complaint is the online brunch menu was not available. It was buffet only, but the buffet was outstanding.

We have mixed reviews on Craft Vine. Four of us have eaten there Saturday night and we all gave the chef 5 stars. The food was excellent! We also enjoyed our cocktails and the wine we chose (a super toscana) was wonderful. That means the service was definitely missing. There were very long waiting times for every aspect of our meal. Our appetizers showed up well before we got our cocktails, and our entrees showed up well before we got our wine. Dirty dishes were left on the table between courses, and at one point we stacked them ourselves and placed them on the bar just to clean our own table. Waiting staff didn't even notice it. After completion of our entrees we waited and waited for a dessert menu, in no case. We finally blew someone to order dessert and coffee and, like the rest of the meal, the dessert came out well before the coffee. We ate the dessert well before the coffee arrived, and the coffee was lukewarm. Unfortunately, the service at Craft Vine is a certain service for the cook. We loved the food, but the service was so not that we could not return soon.
