Bidra med feedbackMenu on the web site offers "spécialités du terroir", but only one of three choices (steak de wapiti) was available. None of the excellent local beers are offered, only Molson/Rickards. Bread was from the Pom bakery, proudly offered in the factory shrink-wrap. Service was friendly and the food was okay (wapiti and steak tasty and nice vegetables but greasy potatoes), desserts about as nice as you could buy frozen at the grocery store. View of a gray parking lot, no lake or hills to be seen.
We had breakfast here last week and it took from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out one hour to get our breakfast..And there were two ladies working and only six tables with people. An old couple came in and sat behind us and the lady asked for pancakes and a bowl of cereal , she asked the server what kind of cereal thay had and if they had cornflakes the server replied this is not a depaneaur...I almost lost it on the server I could not beleave what she said to the poor old lady.I would never return there due to the ignorance of the staff and the time it take to be served..Food very good service beyond terrible
The prices at this restaurant are a little high and the service is a bit slow, but the food is delicious. It's similar to what you would find at a typical hotel restaurant in the United States. If you're looking to try something different, there are better options nearby.
We were disappointed with our first visit to the restaurant as the onion soup was overly salty and the club sandwich was just mediocre.
The menu on the website advertised specialities from the region, but only one out of the three options (elk steak) was available. The restaurant did not offer any of the excellent local beers, only Molson or Rickards. The bread was from Pom bakery, presented in its factory shrink-wrap. The service was friendly and the food was decent (the elk steak was tasty with nice vegetables, but the potatoes were greasy). The desserts were mediocre, comparable to what you could buy frozen at a grocery store. The view from the restaurant was of a grey parking lot, with no lake or hills in sight.
