Pontillo's Mt.hope Ave - Rochester

Sometimes you just want to get a short slice! I stopped there today and could get very quickly one that was delicious and a good size. And a friendly worker! What more can you ask in a disc? Love her pizza sauce.

Hi went in during my lunch break to get a slice of pieces. It was getting pretty busy but there was only one person ahead of me, and about 5 people behind me. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and my coworker with me ordered 2 slices of pizza. I sat waiting for my pizza an the person who ordered behind me go her pizza first. Then my coworker got ONE of her slices that she ordered. Then 2 more people who ordered after us got their pizza. So I went up to tell them I was missing a chicken pizza and my coworker was still waiting for her second slice. They looked completely confused and had to put in new pizzas for us. Then my friend got her second slice and I waited for my first slice. TWO other pizza got their buffalo chicken and I still hadn 't gotten mine. I then went up to speak to a manager only to be told they didn 't have any more buffalo chicken pizza. They didn 't apologized at all and only could give me a different kind of pizza. They gave me a cookie that I don 't like as a "apology ' I guess. They need to find a better way to get orders out in the properly.

I made a random pizzeria choice to order 2 sheet pizzas, a white pizza and 10 wings. It was the greatest choice possible! I haven't seen wings this size in years! Juicy, tender, meaty, tasty...there aren't enough great adjectives available for this review! My white pizza was phenomenal as well. The staff here at Wilmot Cancer Center told me they loved their sheet pizzas...(an unexpected surprise to thank them for amazing care)!! Thank you Pontillos!!!

My husband and I order from here ALL the time, and usually the service is amazing, along with our food. As soon as we give our number they know exactly who we are as well. Today was not the same great customer service the person who answered the phone was super rude, and short, and yes our food did come when it was expected, and hot mind you. BUT the quality of the pizza and wings was disgusting. Wings were super soggy (we always ask for sauce on the side and well done) which they came sauce on the side, but super soggy, and the pizza was like a frozen pizza. Crust was too thing, the sauce was too sweet and way too much was put on. Now knowing that?s not the normal from here, I called and the person who answered the phone was super rude once again. And no issue was resolved. Super bummed and disappointed especially since my husband and I are both in service industry, and we are continuing customers to this specific pointillos.

Fast service (they quoted 45 minutes to an hour and delivered in under 30! Friendly staff with feeling of that good old mom and pops place! Will definitely try their pizza again! Only in the area for an overnight for business but this place is now on the maps!
