Folsom's Bakery Inc - Rock Falls

We only visit the bakery once a year to get the thumbprint cookies for a family birthday, and they never disappoint. Being under new ownership is paying off and the quality for the price has improved. For this trip my 5 year old wanted a doughnut (which heusually doesn't like to eat because they are too sweet), and they let him go behind the counter to pick his own. He thought thiswas the coolest thing in the world. What a great touch to a visit!

Two. try pizza there. very good with another taste and taste for the city. we had cheese, sausage, cut bark meat, with Xtra cheese...YUMMY!

Went there for first time and donuts were hard like rolls and cinnamon roll was like chewing on a leather belt, maybe baking school or go to the bakery in Oregon Il on route 64 so they can see what real donuts are.
