Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely, the worst cup of coffee I've ever had. I ordered aocha and it tasted like a mug of steamed milk, on the verge of expiring. I tried my husband's latte and it tasted just like my mocha...just steamed milk. Switched to wine and loved the red of the week. It was reasonably priced as well. This was my second trip here and both times they have had terribly slow service. The bartender was hustling, but I didn't see him getting much support. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
We stopped by for a coffee on a Sunday morning. The coffee was good and served in cute ceramic mugs. The young lady who served us was really nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. It's cute, cozy, and very nicely decorated. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cozy location with café setup and nice outdoor terrace that is mainly in the shadow. Offers a large selection of beer and wine and also coffee. It was great to see that coffee is served in ceramic mugs.
I recently moved to a new job in the Pierre building and decided to have dinner at the restaurant next door. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by a very rude and condescending server. Despite providing our IDs, she seemed to doubt their authenticity and made us feel very unwelcome. It would be wise for the restaurant to invest in an ID scanner to avoid such incidents in the future. We tried to order drinks but were met with snide remarks and dirty looks. We were polite and respectful customers, yet we were treated as if we were less than. The server even announced our card authorizations loudly, embarrassing us in front of everyone. She forgot a drink for one of my friends and when he asked politely, she made fun of us with another server. It made us feel very uncomfortable and I was ashamed that my guests had to witness such behavior. I have never been treated so poorly and will not be returning. I hope they find peace and improve their customer service in the future.
I usually avoid drinking at bars due to the high prices, but this place is definitely worth it. It has a relaxing atmosphere and offers an amazing view of the Catawba River. They sometimes open up the front of the venue, giving it a cool indoor/outdoor vibe (similar to many bars in Asheville). The wine selection is impressive and the cheese plates are delicious. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to each table. Both the cheeseboard and wine selection are top-notch here.
