Amazing. Was recommended by a coworker and went there for a night out. Had prime rib sandwich with buttery toasted bun... Heavenly. Wife had ribeye equally perfect from local beef of course. This belongs on DDD on TV if it isn't already. Will def be going back. Cool decor with hunting theme. Amazing prices and service. Portions not too big and quality over quantity. Don't miss ordering the famous bread pudding.
Very good food! Loved the Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops and the salad was so fresh! Best was the Nachos and queso cheese. The chips are the lightest chips I've ever had! Thanks to Josie our professional waitress!
My partner and thought that even though our waitress might not have been the best, attentive, this place was well staffed and we got help with whatever we needed. They were all well dressed and very respectful. A compliment to this place. We, I, got the ribs which were pretty flavorful with a good smoke and she got the patty melt on rye bread, done perfectly. The signature fries were awesome. The deserts also awesome if you have room left because the servings are of a decent size. So if you want to go somewhere out of the way this would be a great stop!
Wow! This place is a gem in the Midwest. We drove about 40 minutes to eat here the first time and we weren't let down at all. First off the decor is very Country inspired and well done. My one and only complaint are the booths being rather uncomfortable for a long sit down dining experience. The staff is very friendly and given the fact that all places these days are understaffed, they are still take good care of their guests. Now on to the Wow part. We chose the 2 meals for $25 option and both ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger as our entree. I chose the Sweet Potato fries (waffle cut) as my side. They use Angus Beef and let me tell you I haven't EVER had a burger so delicious in my 55 years. I don't know what they do with that Angus Beef 1/2 lb. burger but it deserves a standing ovation. The Sweet Potato fries were also the best I have ever had. So, although we live some 35 miles away, it won't be the last time we treat ourselves to Cedar Rock Grill. I can't wait to try the Ribs. I do wish they had a sauteed mushroom appetizer.
