Hands down, the best Thai food I have had anywhere. One of my favorite restaurants. I love their drunken noodles and the Tom Yum soup is also a favorite. My wife and son are big fans of the yellow curry, and I also recommend their Pad Thai and Thai dumplings. We had a great time at Thai Nam Phet. The restaurant has a huge parking space and outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. There is a large vegetarian selection at thi place. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is also great. We do recommend it to someone who wants to try good thai food.
If I wrote this review two days ago, it would be a 5-star review. We've eaten here or had take-out 50+ times over the last 10 years. Until last night, the food quality was excellent. Best Thai food I've had in NJ. I don't know what happened, perhaps they are training a new cook. The Pad Thai and Poor Man noodles were both bland. The pineapple fried rice was also a bit off and not as tasty as usual. Felt under-seasoned or lacking salt. I could not say exactly what was wrong, but it definitely didn't taste like it has in the past.
