The Roof At The Rockaway

Enjoyed date night at the rooftop bar to catch sunset. Amazingly friendly and attentive service. Decent decor with fantastic views. Turns out it's not really a restaurant, they only have small bites of mixed quality think spinach artichoke dip, 10 pizzas and shellfish. Cute but not dinner. Super loud/terrible live music ruined the sunset patio, we moved to the other side for ocean views which were more serene. If they had a more full menu and toned down the live music it'd be a gem.

I love this place it?s gorgeous. I would come here for a drink and snack not to eat. The food is pretty good but wouldn?t come here for just food again. I thought the fig and prosciutto flatbread was way too sweet. The pulled pork tacos were ok. The viewson both sides are so nice.

The rooftop wedding was stunning and the food was delicious. The bartenders and staff were friendly and attentive. However, there was a disappointing encounter with a young valet service employee who was rude when opening my door. She said "you're welcome" before I had finished getting my items from the truck, which I found inappropriate. I did thank her when I was ready to enter the hotel, but the gentleman who intervened and welcomed us was much more polite.

The bartenders were attentive and polite, and the crowd was pleasant. It wasn't too crowded for a weekend. I ordered crispy rice topped with poke and it was absolutely delicious. I could eat about 50 of them. The drinks were also tasty. This is definitely my favorite place to eat by Rockaway Beach so far.
