Peppermill Grill - Rockford

Ordered Hot Beef Sandwich, suposed to be thinly sliced beef pilled high on white bread with mashed potatoes and gravy. What I got was chopped beef with grissel, and only about 1/2 -3/4 inch thick, on small toasted bread, pilled high with mashed potatoes and gravy. Potatoes and gravy was good and hot, the meat was only slightly warm. The BLTs were very good, the service was great. Ordered a small pancake for grandson, the small pancake was bigger than the plate, grandson went to town on it, was good enough to take most of it home.

Robert was engaging and quick. Appreciated his personality and attitude. My food, the California burget was served hot and fresh. My side of bacon was crispy, not burnt, which is key!

Love the food, love the people, love the atmosphere. Favorite dish: junior Hawaiian omelette with mushrooms American fries no onions and white toast with strawberry jelly

Food was delicious And affordable. Robert was super friendly and made me and my fiancé feel very welcome. He was extremely personable! Will be coming back for the great food and Robert.
