Sweets N' Eats - Rockford

The food was enjoyable; I had the quesadilla dinner and the asada tacos. The asada was a bit crunchy, though. I ordered takeout, but when I got home, I realized they forgot my churro. I called the restaurant to see if I could pick it up another day, but they told me to come in before they closed that night. Unfortunately, they closed in less than 10 minutes, and I had just returned home to relax and eat. I really didn't want my food to go cold. I asked if I could come in in a couple of days instead, but I got the same response. Eventually, they did take my name down, but I didn’t go back for the churro because I was just frustrated with the service. There was no apology, and I was really looking forward to my churro. I’ll give the restaurant another try, hoping for a different experience with another staff.

I absolutely love this place! I can't wait to sample every flavor of ice cream they offer. The food is amazing too! I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed this spot.

Just got the tamales. They are fantastic!!! Reminded me of the ones I would get in California. They only have them on the weekends so you better get there when they open or you might be out if luck.

Amazing food. Poor customer service. Asked for my Birria tacos to be made without cheese add onion and cilantro. Mine was made with cheese…and no onions or cilantro. I called to let them know I am allergic and needed it to be remade. Never apologized for the in order being incorrect. The manager stated she would remake the order if I brought the incorrect order back to her. I let her know this was as a major inconvenience since I live about 30 minutes away from this establishment. 30 minutes later I returned the food had to wait 10 mins to be acknowledged by employee. I let her know I was there for a replacement order. Employee brought me the remade order about 5 minutes later , never apologizing nor having the manager speak with me. In general it was a poor experience and very little service recovery. I try to spend my hard earned money locally, but unfortunately I will not be returning as a customer. Unorganized, unfriendly staff and confusing set up. Inadequate staffing.Kid-friendliness: Difficult to move around in the restaurant/store.Parking: Sucks!!Dietary restrictions: Did not accommodate dietary restrictions.

This was my mom and I’s first time eating here, and we will definitely be coming back! The food is amazing! So much flavor! We got the quesabirrias and ice cream nachos! Again 100/10! The best mexican food I have ever had! This is a must stop for great mexican food, ice cream, and plenty of options for sweet treat! Great service as well!!
