Got takeout the other day: garlic knots, chicken alfredo, and the Philly cheesesteak. As soon as you open the door, you feel like you're walking into an Italian cafe, the marinara and garlic aromas pleasantly let you know you're in the right place, besides the place being packed at 6 PM. Dad loved his sandwich, tasted authentic and said it was the best cheesesteak he's outside of Philly. My chicken fettuccini alfredo was exceptional. Loaded with chicken and enough alfredo to dip the garlic knots in. The knots were perfect, BTW. First visit, next time hopefully we can sit down. I will be back most definitely and wished I had heard about Lello's sooner, but this establishment has definitely made it into my dining out rotation. We're big fans of the family restaurant experience. The owners are originally from Rome, and the food is legit. I recommend the carrot soup, Calamari and any of their homemade sauces. My favorites both their Alfredo Carbonara. Save some room for a sharable slice of Tiramisu.
