Jj's Cafe - Rockport

Good food, seems like a great homey place for locals but if you're from out of town, tourists, it's nothing crazy you can't get somewhere else. I'd find somewhere else to eat at with much prettier scenery, find somewhere with a view of the water, really enjoy being at the beach, the view here is a walmart parking lot ?‍ to summarize: it's good not GREAT

This place has good food, for sure—excellent southern cooking. Our waitress was fantastic and knowledgeable. We came here because another place we wanted to go was packed. Everything was great except 1 thing. My family and I walked in, and the waitress said we could sit anywhere. We wanted the back corner, so we walked that way, and out of nowhere, this pregnant lady yelled rudely, Not that table! . It was really rude, In general. Having five kids in my life with my wife and knowing being pregnant can make a woman grumpy, I let it slide, Or we would have left. We stayed, though, and everything was great. I definitely would go to our family kitchen first, but this is a great contingency plan

My pancakes were halfway raw inside, french toast was so dry ..it use to be delicious in the past .. what happened ? But our server was very nice..

Very fresh breakfast. Absolutely loved the ambiance. Patio was cool. Will be back next time when I visit Rockport.
