Bidra med feedbackI came here one night for karaoke with my ex-boyfriend's mom and my friend Sunil. We had a great time. The bartenders were friendly and the food was great. I think I had a panini. The bar isn't very handicapped friendly. My ex-boyfriend's mom is unfortunately disabled with a leg problem and although she did manage to be able to sit at the bar she would have done better if a table had been available. I love live music when I can get to it, concerts when I can pay the money to see one, and karaoke but sometimes the venues are unfortunately not so handicapped friendly and it must be frustrating for a disabled person to enjoy these things. Overall North Village Tavern was still fun and I'd consider being back here again.
Nice place but the karaoke guy insulted the singer badly. Not nice somebody has to tell the DJ to not insult the singers and humiliate them after they sing.
We hosted our friend's 40th bday party at this delightful bar and it was absolutely fabulous! Gina and staff were kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating- we brought all sorts of decorations, from koozies to confetti, and covered the walls in pictures, (ya, it was A LOT! and everyone pitched in. The bar has a great hometown vibe and awesome music selection; we were able to play a downloaded faves list on the jukebox, which was pretty epic! Whether it's a casual drink on a Thurs or an insanely fun bday party, this bar always delivers! It's a great RVC spot devoid of pretension and chalk full of good drinks, bar snacks, and fab staff! Ke p up the good work NVT!
After writing a review about how dirty the taps were and the prices are a scam, the owner messaged me to call me a liar lol. I was there with about 6 people, everyone who ordered a tap beer, changed to bottles, as no matter what beer they ordered, it was stale and you could just tell the taps weren't properly cleaned. Then I order an Allagash and am charged $7, which is fine, except when a different bartender gives us the 2nd one, she charges $11. I'm sorry the owner was upset about the truth but the purpose of Yelp is to let other people know if it's good or bad so they can have a good experience. This will be a bad experience for anyone who likes to drink beer at this bar
Hands down my favorite spot in Rockville Centre. The owner Gina pays attention to every detail and knows exactly what she's doing when it comes to giving the customer a great experience from the moment they walk in to when they walk out. Ryan and all of the bartenders are always so friendly, service is awesome and it's a bar that feels like home. Also highly recommend the steak bites :
