Mountain Top Grill - Rockwood

We should have heeded the reviews, but after missing the Rockwood exit and feeling famished, we decided to give it a shot. What a huge mistake! There were only about three tables occupied in the entire restaurant, and we opted to sit at the bar. My fiancé ordered a beer that was never refilled because the bartender was too busy sitting outside on her phone, smoking cigarettes. We waited 49 minutes for our food, and the appetizer arrived alongside our main dishes. When my fiancé inquired about the delay with our food and the lack of a beer refill, he was told, "because we're busy?!" We looked around and wondered where all these supposed customers were, as the place was practically empty. The food left much to be desired, the restaurant was unkempt, and the bartender's service was abysmal!

The restaurant has new owners and offers excellent service. Definitely worth a visit! It's located behind the RV sales lot and is in a spacious building.

This is the first part of my review, as we stopped in for a bite to eat and some drinks before heading down to check out the boats and campers. Alyssa was on duty and welcomed us with a smile. This is the second time she has served our group, and she has been exceptional both times. It's not always easy to deliver news, like when the bar is out of something or when a guest can't get what they want, but she handled it gracefully. We made some adjustments and enjoyed our wings and pork sandwich before moving downstairs.

Pretty poor service. Hardly anyone in the restaurant and hamburger steak and mashed potatoes took over 40 minute to prepare. Restaurant is noisy and tv above the fireplace was playing cartoons.

Absolutely the worst service and food I have had since I moved to Tennessee!!! Second time here and service is missing completely!! 45 minutes to get a beer!! Don't waste your money or time on this Dump!!! Worst
