China Kitchen - Rocky Ford

China kitchen has and will always go my to Chinese food pickup. The staff is really friendly and they know me and my family really well because we order there at least 2 times a week if no more!! You never miss my order and my food for most part is always fresh and delicious. The lunch buffet is also a hit with the locals. I recommend China cuisine and their lunch buffet!

This was my first visit to China Kitchen. I have ate at the other Chinese places in Otero County a couple of times and have honestly was disappointed so I was a bit nervous. I drove to Rocky Ford this Sunday to go to another resteraunt, but it was closed for a long holiday weekend. I drove by China Kitchen then decided to turn the car around and give them a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised with my lunch. Hands down the best value priced lunch in the whole county! Fried rice was plentiful and not dry. The almond chicken had a bit of a sweet aroma which kinda through me off a little, but once I started eating it made sense. Eggdrop soup was very warm and had good flavor. They also take covid restrictions very seriously and will do curbside pickup. Can't wait to try it again.

Good food, no dine in right now. We are traveling and it was a good treat.

The buffet isn't big, but it is definitely sufficient. There is something for everyone. I've been to smaller ones, as well as larger ones. This is the best Chinese buffet I've been at in Colorado. For some reason, the Chinese food on the coasts are way better than they are in middle America, and especially Colorado. I'd eat here every day if my partner would! It is good food. The restaurant decor is dated, but the price is very cheap, so for two people, you can leave satisfied for under $20, which is rare anymore. I recommend this place. I usually get sick when I eat out, but I didn't here.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the valley. Whenever we're in the mood for Chinese food, we always choose to come here. The last time they were closed, we tried another restaurant, but we've decided to wait until they're open next time. The portions are generous, and the quality makes it well worth the price!
