Abuelo's - Rogers

We came to the War Eagle race of KC and needed a dinner. I wasn't in an Abuelo since the Zona Rosa was closed. We loved our server Linae (sp. . And the food and space were also excellent!!

I experience here was excellent! The service was great, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I had the chili relleno and enchilada lunch special instead of rice and beans I had them mixed vegetables... This is a Tex-Mex place I don't remember seeing tacos on the menu I know they did not have tostadas but the flavor of the food is fabulous. Would definitely eat here again

Excellent service. The staff was extremely friendly. Server took the time to share their favorite. The salsa is amazing. The chipotle tomato base had a nice level of smoky heat. And the green salsa verde with pineapple was ? perfect balance of sweet and savory. Tortilla soup was tasty but I wanted more chicken. And a touch more salt.

Started out with queso for our chips and salsa. Washed it down with a watermelon margarita which wasn't as good as I expected. Wasn't bad by any means, just not as great as is hoped for. Got the fajitas for two with 2 shrimp, 1 steak and 1 chicken option for dinner. Nothing negative could be said about the meal other than a little pricey for a Tuesday dinner but the daughter was hungry.

We were in town for a quick errand and lunch. Mexican food a favorite of both of us we looked at local reviews. Abuelos had great reviews and lived up to them. The price was a bit high however the portions were decent. Food quality was good. I'd give 5 stars however the food was a bit bland for my taste.
