I hope this was an off night for this place, but since it was a Saturday at 7, it shouldn't have been. When you go out for sushi you extend some trust and take a health risk. Friends recommended this place from years back, but it must have changed. Sushi was not fresh. Salmon and tuna were pale and dry. The real wasabi was mixed with horseradish paste. Service was lackluster. Music was sing-songy awful. Our food took an hour to arrive due to a mistake they made and we were not compensated. Miso, gomae, and Karage were low in flavor and below average execution for a Japanese restaurant. The Happy Spoon was pretty good and the patio is well-heated. You may want to go for just the cheesecake soufflé dessert.

A must visit sushi restaurant in Sonoma county. Top quality fish, great menu with many choices. Delicious fresh food. Elegant atmosphere and very friendly staff.
