On top of that, my drive-thru order didn’t include any napkins, a receipt for my credit card transaction, or any condiments. I don’t hold high expectations for fast food, but this experience was very disappointing. Marketers often say that people choose franchise food because they know what to expect, but that can backfire. This experience will affect not just this location but potentially all Wendy's franchisees. Currently, Wendy's sits just above Sonic on my list. During a previous visit to Sonic, I threw away my entire order. Think about how bad it has to be to not even want to eat poorly cooked food. While I’ve had Sonic food from others since then which was decent, they still rank at the bottom for me, and it would take significant effort for any restaurant to dethrone them. The only reason Wendy’s remains above Sonic is that the burger itself was decent.

I waited in line for 30 minutes and received food that was only slightly warm. To add to the disappointment, there were no straws for our drinks, and my fiancée's Jr. BACON Cheeseburger was missing the bacon. You would think that after all these years, this franchise would have improved, but it’s still a disaster. If Gordon Ramsay were to visit fast food restaurants, I bet even he would struggle to turn this one around. This is definitely a place I’d advise friends and family to avoid, and I’ll be sharing my experience as a warning not to go there.
