Vivi Bistrot Sala Umberto - Rome

There was a burger and one additional vegan dish available at the restaurant. The burger was delicious and the ambiance of the place was pleasant. However, I was disappointed to find that there were no vegan pasta or Italian options on the menu.

We had a vegan bowl and burger (tofu) both were really good, a lot of vegan options and all are marked! Nice decoration.

Four of us decided to try out this restaurant for dinner and we were not disappointed. Two of us ordered the tofu and roasted vegetable burger, which was actually not a burger but tofu with slices of roasted vegetables, and it was delicious. The dish came with organic roasted potato wedges and a salad. We also tried the buckwheat noodles with vegetables and asked for some tofu to be added, which was devoured by my daughter because it was so tasty. I opted for the thali bowl, which included rice, tofu, green beans, hummus, nuts, and a flavorful green mayo, along with a side of organic potato wedges. Contrary to a previous review, the rice in the thali bowl was hot and it was incredibly enjoyable. We also indulged in the chocolate cake and apple pie with custard, both of which were heavenly. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit when in Rome.

My family and I walked by this restaurant that we found on Happy Cow. I am a meat eater, while my husband and two kids are vegetarian. One of my kids is vegan. It can be difficult to find something for everyone in Rome, but we all found something that suited our dietary needs here. I ordered the Vegan Thali bowl, which was a cold "Goodness Bowl." It was a pleasant surprise, as I had been craving brown rice and hummus. I also tried a detox juice, which was a bit too heavy on the ginger for my taste. The prices were a bit higher than other places, but the atmosphere was nice. We thought it might be better for dinner than lunch. Overall, we recommend trying it out! It looks like there may be other locations as well. We visited the one on Via della Mercede.
