Big Boy Restaurants - Romulus

Food was cold and soggy. the fish was mushy. The cold slaw was room temperature. The tarter sauce tasted sour. Will never order from this place again.

Batter was soggy not as crisp as I expected for the fish and chips, dinner,. Fries were totally limp. Good coleslaw and cornbread.

The Chicken Alfredo was bad. The noodles were not cooked fully, the chicken was old, gray, and rubbery. And there was also some onions or something in it, which means that someone was not careful when cooking multiple dishes. I didnt eat it. But thankfully the Pizza Rolls and Pretzel Bites were okay to eat.

Every, single thing was iced cold to the point that the Biscuits Gravy was gelatinous and the Pretzel Bites cheese was a clump (and only about 1tbsp). So disappointed

I usually don't write reviews, especially negative ones, but this restaurant was terrible. The server couldn't remember our order, even though she wrote it down. She brought out raspberry iced tea after I corrected her twice, and it was still wrong. The broccoli soup was salty and rancid, and when we mentioned it to the server, she became defensive. The chicken parm and spaghetti were cold, and the chicken tasted freezer burned. The onion rings and mac and cheese were also cold and did not match their description. The fish and chips were okay, but not great. The shakes were good, but overall it was the worst Big Boy experience we've ever had. The cashier offered a 10% discount, but had a bit of an attitude. We didn't need a discount, we just wanted good service and properly cooked food. We've had much better food and service at local places for a lot less money. The restaurant was not busy and seemed to have enough staff. Three members of my family had a few bites of the soup and are now worried about getting food poisoning. We will not be returning.
