Locally Made Food Shop - RONKS

Every thing we purchased is excellent. We purchased quite a bit and are going back for pies ordered. The only reason we had to order pies is because the customer before my husband purchased every single pie to take home to Virginia. Totally understandable. And we are happy to go back I am plotting what else we could try that we have not already.

I absolutely loved the sandtart cookies I purchased! They brought back memories of the ones my mother used to bake.

My family and some family friends gathered at Millers for a meal after our visit to Lancaster. I’m not usually a fan of smorgasbord or buffet-style dining, but I was pleasantly surprised overall. The food, including the salad bar and entrees, was fresh, and I enjoyed almost everything (the dessert section could use some improvement). The drink service was a bit slow, but considering the restaurant was packed, it’s understandable. I’d be happy to recommend this place to anyone looking to try a smorgasbord experience.

On February 26, we dined at this restaurant for the first time. I absolutely loved the warm chocolate pecan pie and the orange cake desserts; they were truly unique. The marinated mushrooms in sauce were also excellent. We were fortunate to have a coupon, which made the meal even more worthwhile.

My husband insisted we go here on a recent trip. I like the kind of comfort food served here, but I can't really et my money's worth at a buffet despite the fact I can eat quite a bit. I took it very slow with very small tastes of various items. Of course I didn't realize there was another entire Hot Entree area (which had some things I would have wanted more and got to when I had very little appetite left over). My husband really loved it. I liked it well enough but didn't find anything I would really rhapsodize about except perhaps the Amish potato salad, the Harvard beets and the potato stuffing, which (outside of maybe the beets) one can't get just anywhere. There were some other Pennsylvania Dutch dishes, but not my favorites. By the time dessert was on deck I wasn't hungry enough and had a tiny sliver of cheesecake only. Certainly a well-run establishment with fresh food, but my husband liked it better than did I.
