Just had a fantastic stay in the silver eel. The staff are so nice as well as being so professional. The views from hotel are stunning the rooms are spacious and spotless clean.the food is delicious. So if its a weekend break you want or just good food the silver eel is well worth dropping into..

Big thanks to Ellie and her team for a fabulous dinner. Steaks were fantastic as was the Salmon and Cod dishes. Our visitors were very impressed at the quality of the food. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Keep up the excellent work.

Had Sunday lunch here, very pleasant experience, good choices on menu, and food was nicely cooked and tasty when it arrived. The trifle wasn’t the best, but everything else was fine. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Surroundings right on the lake couldn’t be nicer, beautiful spot.

Had ordered lamb chops looked good could not eat them due to to much garlic pickled in garlic returned food explaining I don't like garlic was told don't come back as I won't be served the chef reserves the right to serve food as he sees fit I said he can buy it then I can't eat it and I won't be back you can get Chinese delivered from strokestown any wY you prefer garlic not for me
