Joe's Oyster Grill - Rosenberg

My partner and I had a date night to try out a new restaurant and we were thrilled with our experience! The food was incredible, especially the seafood gumbo. The owner was very friendly and gave us great recommendations. This will definitely be a new favorite spot for us to dine at regularly!

I was amazed to find such fresh seafood at a restaurant that is not directly by the coast - it was a truly delicious experience! I am very particular about my seafood, and I have to say that Joe exceeded my expectations. The oysters were the best I have ever had in my 54 years - they were perfectly coated, large, plump, flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were also fantastic! You can tell a seafood restaurant is high quality by their tartar sauce, and Joe's Oyster Bar and Grill did not disappoint. Their house-made tartar sauce was delicious! I live in Houston, but I would gladly make the trip to Rosenberg for food like this. I will definitely be back! Even better, maybe I should open a Joe in Houston so I don't have to drive as far!

The lunch specials at this restaurant are amazing. The portions are so generous that we ended up taking some home for seconds. The food has wonderful aromas. We enjoyed the hamburger steak with potatoes and salad, as well as the grilled chicken breast with potatoes and green beans.

They looked down and opened the menu and there were chokes in the menu.

We went after lunch, so we were the only ones in there. Since it was our first time, I wanted it to be slower so that we can get the attention I need to ask what is good for them. bar delicate is cleaning and says we can sit everywhere and the woman working gave us the attitude of omg not another. we had jalapeños and fried mushrooms. they were good. jalapeños come in a series of 2 large, well baked and very filled. the mushrooms are cooked to perfection, only not very much seasonal. we ordered our main course and unfortunately I can't remember what it was, that is how unimpressed I was with him. love the view of the place
