Sun Dragon Chinese Restuarant

We came to celebrate New Year's Eve as a family . Really enjoyed the set menu and as the night went on we got to play party games and finished off with fire works outside . Food excellent, friendly staff . Would Hartley recommend.

I have been a regular at the Sun Dragon for takeaways since moving into the area nearly 10 years ago. The food is great, especially fond of salt and pepper wings and chicken stuffed with prawn meat yummy!! Always friendly service and great value couldn't ask for more!

Visited here with friends a few times and have always received a lovely warm welcome! All the family work extremely hard to make your visit there enjoyable! Nothing is too much trouble! Really genuine people and good food too! Highly recommended

Decided to have a late evening meal out the week before Christmas and thought we'd go for Chinese. It had been a while since we'd been to the Sun dragon as there are nearer restaurants to our home. On entering i noticed there were a couple of families in but not overly busy and while in noticed a few popping in for takeaways. Now down to the meal itself, What can i say but excellent, tried a bit of everybody's (as you do) and i'd of been happy if i'd ordered anyone of them as my own. I ordered Salt and pepper fish for starter, WOW it was spicy and plentiful too, which was good because everybody had a try. For my main i decided on the chicken stuffed with prawn meat, i've had this before at other restaurants but this was by far the best i've ever had. One thing i cant comment on is the deserts as i was that stuffed i skipped them and just had a coffee. Highly recommended.

The waitress is definitely an acquired taste however the food is out of this world. We have been to the Yang sing recently and paid four times as much for food that was`nt half the quality. Always piping hot fresh ingredients cooked to order we have been for years and never had a bad experience.Back to the service the waitress who could give Basil Fawlty a run for his money but has a heart of gold and a tongue as sharp as a razor.
