Bidra med feedbackWithout a doubt, this place serves the best beef brisket and fried okra around. Everything is incredibly delicious!
Unfortunately, I was super busy at work today and didn’t have time for a proper meal. As a diabetic, I should know better, but I thought I could manage. When work ran long and I was feeling drained, I decided to stop by Spice Right to grab a bite. However, once I got there, my hands were shaky, and I felt a bit lightheaded. I initially thought about calling in my order and waiting in the car, but I didn't know the menu. I waved down a staff member in the parking lot and asked for help. Without hesitation, a gentleman (I didn't catch his name) quickly found someone to take my order right there. He was incredibly kind! He returned with Meghan (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), who jumped into action immediately. The outstanding customer service I received while parked made me confident that I would have an equally amazing experience inside. The food was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning! This is a great spot for lunch if you work or live nearby, and it’s also perfect for meeting friends for dinner. Did I mention how incredible the staff is? I can't emphasize it enough! Thank you, Spice Right!
It's my favorite BBQ spot in the area. Every meat and side they offer is excellent, and their tacos (yes, you heard me right—tacos!) are fantastic as well. Make sure you don't leave without trying the banana pudding; it comes in a plastic cup, so you can easily grab it with a spoon for the road. It's top-notch too!
Family run establishent. Warm and friendly welcome. Ribs, Pulled Pork Brisket were exactly what I was expecting from a place with a smoker in the parking lot!! I highly recommend a visit!!
I’ll start by saying that I travel a lot. Coast to coast. I’ve had bbq all across America. These guys know how to cook! I had the half rack of ribs, collards, and slaw. Ribs were Smokey, a decently sweet and spicy rub, and cooked to just near “fall off the bone”. Collards had the right amount of seasoning and the slaw had just a hint of sweetness which is how I prefer it. I never tried any sauce because frankly, the ribs didn’t need them. That’s the true measure of how good your ribs are. If you have to smother everything you cook in sauce, you’re failing. Now, this isn’t fine dinning. This is a place where you eat with your hands. This is blue collar food. Don’t come here and expect to have a waiter serve you a Perrier with lemon. You’re gonna fill your own cup and like it. It’s rough around the edges and I like that. The focus is on the food. The decor is a mashup of old hubcaps and signs. The booth could use a little padding, but whatever. When I walked in, Black Sabbath was playing on the sound system. It was a nice changup from the usual “Famous Dave’s Radio” I hear everywhere else. Go here, eat till your stomach hurts. Leave with a sense of accomplishment that you devoured more food than you should have. You’ll wake up tomorrow and say “Those were some damn good ribs!”
