My wife and I revisited this establishment after a fantastic experience in 2021, and it did not disappoint. The variety of local brews, the friendly staff and customers, and the welcoming atmosphere make it a great place to relax. The micropub concept encourages patrons to find a seat, possibly at a communal table, order a drink, and strike up a conversation. You may even get to pet someone's dog while enjoying the eclectic decor, all of which is available for purchase. Despite a negative review posted online, we found the experience to be delightful and were amused by the owner's response on social media. We recommend trying the local ciders and beers, indulging in the locally made scotch eggs, and perhaps making a new friend. This unique establishment may not appeal to everyone, but if you appreciate its quirky charm, you'll likely leave feeling like it's one of your happy places. I enjoyed it so much that I even bought a T-shirt as a souvenir.

This restaurant is fantastic with an excellent beer selection, reasonable prices, and a lively atmosphere complemented by the friendly staff.

One of the most unusual pubs we have ever been in. Very friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome. Great selection of beers and gins. Possibly other drinks available. Most of the interior furnishings could possibly be purchased. Very quirky. The toilets are certainly worth a visit. Not expensive compared to some other pubs in Rye.

So pleased we stumbled across this little gem during our walk around Rye. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The beer selection was exceptional, I enjoyed a couple of pints of an excellent American Pale Ale, my partner confirmed the gin selection was more than acceptable. Hopefully we can get visit again in the near future.
