Bidra med feedbackBoundry Mill is a great place to visit for many things, clothing, household etc, but not for its cafe. My goodness what slow service! We had this same experience last visit speaking to friends really poor slow service is the norm. Not enough staff serving at the counter for whatever reason, my wife had a 25 minute queue to get a couple of coffees . When you’re walking round such a big store it’s obvious you’ll need a break. I’m afraid it’ll be a while before we return to the cafe..
Admittedly it was 4.20pm but I counted 19 tables that were empty and had not been cleared of used crockery, meanwhile one of the four employees was lining up clean saucers/ sideplates on a large table, why ? Only one employee serving , and then he ran out of trays, wonder why ?
Visited yesterday at 1.00pm peak time for lunch. No hot food available everything had sold out, apart from sausage rolls. Ok, its had a refurb, along with the shop, and looks very nice but, if there's no food available it might as well close.
Me and my Mum went in today and there was literally sandwiches and 2 cakes that looked rock hard.. not hot food. Tables were that sticky it was like someone had covered them in glue! Saw the cleaner wiping the tables down with a dry cloth. Everything stuck to the table, the tray my Mums coffee cup, my bottle of ribena and my arms.. it was disgusting. Give this place a miss!
We should have walked out as soon as we saw the sandwiches ! We ask the young man at the till if he had any vegan food, well we could have asked if he knew Einstein's Theory Of Relativity by the look he gave us !.... We got 2 sandwiches both disgusting, warm and hardly any filling...... and stale!... The coffee was the cheapest syrupy coffee you can buy, disgusting . ....... Oh the crisps were nearly ok..... but nearly out of date. The tables were filthy ........... Will I go back ? Not in a million years....... I have nothing good to say about the place..... and I always try to look for the good in everything......
