Bidra med feedbackGreat service and very friendly people. the diner was very good, but the wee was even better. put the host tell about the difference of the wee and follow their steps.
Cozy and sophisticated environment. Wide selection of wines of great quality. I have never tried the Chenin Blanc and the waiter (he looked like he was the manager/owner) gave me to try and I was absolutely delighted with it. I am a fan of Spanish and Italian wines, but I gave a try to this 2017 Rijks ‘Touch of Oak’ from South Africa. The food is excellent, however very small portions. The quality of the charcuterie and cheese is excellent, very tasty. The risotto very simple only with Parmesan, they could add some fungi. The lemon tart made me blown away, delicious. I missed that the waitresses were more professional aligned to the high quality of the place.
My happy place at witte de with
Chosen as the best weinbar of the lowlands in 2017, and although this was my first visit to a place was officially called weinbar, I could really understand why. the personal is friendly and even if they obviously know a lot about wein, then are willing to share their advice on informal and just forward-looking wise. the interior is well decorated in classic style and could be very good a jazz bar or a simple bar in 1930. the prices are somewhat steep, but then they are not again ordering the usual supermarket wines here. so my mind is worth it. they can also tell the bartender what they want and he will give them a few options that they can taste. I would also recommend asking for a few bites while they are here. I really liked the big green olives. for the plate I visited the place in jeans and gym shoes, only for the case that they think it is a first-class facility. in any case another time!
Extensive selection of wines through the glass and very decent bottle menu, I could see many interesting things. Eating was much better than expected, with great presentation balanced aromen, big pairing with the wein. I would come back when I am back in the city.
