Nice Mediterranean spot with solid food. Service was pretty slow but they were apologetic about it, likely understaffed or just busy, but we waited about 25 minutes for a gyro bowl and a gyro wrap with fries. The food was great, but the portion sizes seemed a tad small for the price, especially the side of fries (pictured) for the $2 upcharge. We will be back as the food was delicious, just maybe less often due to the portion/price ratio.
Yum! I want to come back and try the gyro wrap or lamb. I had the gyro quesadilla because I was curious, and it was pretty tasty. Gyro meat was sooo moist. Chicken was pretty good, had a nice grilled chicken flavor so I wouldn't have been upset if I'd ordered it.
The halwa puri breakfast puts this place on the map for me. We don't have a lot of options when it comes to authentic pakistani halwa puri breakfast places in Austin, but kababji grill would be my pick. The staff is super friendly and courteous and the proprietor himself took some time out to visit our table to make sure we had received our order. The restaurant is spacious and can seat large groups of people. And if you are not into halwa puri and channa there's other Mediterranean options on the menu as well.
Falafel wrap was OK. A bit dry. Great fries and the combo offered a large serving. Ordered for pickup. Took a long time for order to be ready and the first time I was given the wrong order. Thankfully I checked the order as I was leaving.Vegetarian options: As is typical for Med food, several vegetarian options.
