Bidra med feedbackThe first time. The food was good. Quickly got out. I love the set-up. How you can cook your own spits. My favorite dish was probably the spicy crispy chicken skin. The Dan Dan noodles were a bit stronger for me, I think the noodles were cooked somewhat too long, so they all hang together and very stronger. But the taste was good. The meat was tender. Not exactly like the powder-drip sauce. But the experience was beautiful overall
If you're looking for a unique dining experience, Gui BBQ is definitely worth checking out. The concept is both interesting and fun, with diners using a self rotating charcoal grill to cook their own meat skewers right at the table. It's a great spot for couples or groups, as the communal nature of the experience adds an element of shared enjoyment to the meal.As for the food, it's definitely good, although you'll want to be prepared to order a lot if you're looking to get full. While the menu can be a bit on the pricey side, the quality of the food and the unique dining experience more than justify the cost.
Chinese skewer place that is English friendly. The line takes a while bc you have to wait there for them to call your name, but there's a pool place and small cafe you can visit while you wait and check back.Place feels a little sticky like all bbq places. There's a parking structure so you don't really have to worry about parking too much. The service is fast and they help you put the skewers on the rotating grill at first. There's a top layer to put your food on when you're ready to stop cooking but to keep your food warm. I also had the crawfish, cucumbers, frog, and scallops with noodles, 5/5 would recommend all. I wouldn't recommend the hot pot, it's pre-fixed but not the best, if you couldn't get into Lao ma to hotpot downstairs, it would have to suffice.
Located on the second floor, you can't miss it. The automatic main door to enter is pretty decorative cool. This place gets busy, so I think it's better to make reservations otherwise you have to wait. I really, really like the skewers here, there are just soooo many options to choose from on their menu: tendon, beef, lamb, shrimp, tofu, veggies, you name it. Side dishes, I really liked the garlic cucumbers, eggplant dish, julienned variety of sliced veggies tossed in a soupy red chili paste. I could come here and just eat the skewered veggies and cold veggie dishes because they are so good! The skewer cooking center at the booth is clean , easy to use, and so convenient !
