Bidra med feedbackThe brunch food, specifically the biscuits and gravy, were mediocre. The coffee was terrible. However, the service was pleasant and efficient.
I dined at the restaurant on Sunday and the chicken was delicious. The fried apples were the best I have had since my grandmother was alive many years ago! The only thing I didn't enjoy were the brownies. They weren't terrible, just a little dry.
I had the ribeye. It was perfect! Problem was I asked for the T-Bone, one of the restaurant's signature steaks, and they were out! How does a steak place not have one of its signature items. There were only two other couples in the restaurant, so I don't see how they could not have the t-bone. My wife had the filet mignon and she said it was perfect--tender and flavorful.
The food was satisfying and tasty. The employees were welcoming and efficient. I enjoyed the beef, chicken, and pork dishes, all prepared exactly how I wanted them. As someone who isn't near the coast, I typically avoid ordering seafood.
My husband and I relocated to North Carolina and this restaurant came highly recommended. We both ordered seafood from their menu and were completely disappointed. I had the catch of the day, tuna. It was supposed to be grilled with lemon and butter. It was tasteless and overcooked to the point it was too dry to eat. My husbands shrimp and scallops were rubbery and chewy. I did call and ask to speak to a manager, but one was not available. I was told by the young woman who answered the phone that they are known for their steaks. She also told me that someone else ordered the tuna and didn't complain. IS THIS WHAT PASSES FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!
