City Ramen - Royal Oak

The Ramen I had here was soooo good. The broth was super next level stuff. Very meaty and rich tasting. I've been to Asia many times, and this is right up there. I had the spicy pork ramen. I only had one of the pork pieces, as it looked pretty high calorie. It did taste amazing. Has more of a lunch vs dinner atmosphere, but they do have a limited selection tap beer, which is pretty cool.

Andre, host and server extraordinare, was wonderful! The restaurant was full and he had to do the jobs of 3 people. He did it with a smile and never rushed a patron. He gave everyone the same treatment and didn't miss a beat! 5 stars ? for Andre!!

The vegan ramen was excellent! The staff were very nice.Vegetarian options: The vegan ramen is very flavorful. The pickles are also vegan.

Really solid ramen spot. There aren't a ton of great options in the area anymore, which is unfortunate, but City Ramen does a good job. The ramen is a bit pricey, but good for what it is. Decent selection of beer that has all the necessities covered. The inside isn't very big, but the few times I've been there, I haven't had any issues getting a table right away.My main knock is that the vibe is a bit sterile. Which may be the more hip style it's going for on purpose, but it detracts from the experience a bit.Staff is all unbelievably friendly.
