It’s a little dark in there but otherwise a solid place

If you want a great burger, this is the place for you. Stepping inside is like being transported back to the 70's but this is part of the charm. It is a bit pricey, but it's a quality meal

I did a carry out. Corned beef sandwich was amazing. I ordered fish and paid for extra tartar sauce. They actually didn't give my any. But the food was great.

Went for lunch today with my son for his birthday. We waited 30 minutes for two well done burgers. We were the first ones in the restaurant. Service was mediocre. It was my son’s birthday. I asked if they did anything for birthdays. She responded with we do, and it’s a secret. Well the secret was to forget. I asked for a burger well done cheese only for my son. It came out with everything on it. No upselling or explaining. I had no idea the burger didn’t come with fries. I heard other servers going through the information on customization and what is standard with the burgers. : I ended up adding a side after we had received his burger back with the lettuce and everything picked off it. Still some on the plate. She never checked back to see how meals were. Just a surprise comment that my son had finished his burger. He’s a growing boy. It’s none of her business how fast he easts his meal. She needs to filter her comments. The table has grease marks. The surprise for his birthday was that there was no surprise. I orders him a dessert when she dropped the bill off the first time. Only thing she mentioned was she tried to locate a candle for him with no such luck. Overall disappointed 70 bucks later. I use to love this place. Just left with disappointment and no desire to return. One positive my son loved his burger sundae. Recommend that . Side not. The service area smells like a no one creamed it from the night before. I was waiting for my child, and had the not so pleasurable stench in my nose. Plus silverware was gross. Maybe try having someone polish it before you roll it.

Their burgers and onion rings are phenomenal.Love the dark lighting and furniture that hasn't been replaced in 50 plus years gives it some character.I will make an effort to frequent this establishment alot more in the future.
