Extra Fish - Rugby

Extra Fish Bar offers gluten-free batter upon request. While I believe it's not prepared in a dedicated fryer, I haven't experienced any problems so far.

I ordered a gluten-free meal, and they assured me they could accommodate that. However, after I paid, I was informed that they cook fish in the same oil as all non-gluten-free food. I decided to go with grilled fish instead. When they were packing up the food for me and my husband, I asked them to pack his (non-gluten-free) fish and chips separately from my grilled fish. They then told me that the chips were also cooked in the same oil as the non-gluten-free items. There was no apology or acknowledgment of my concern. As for the food, it was all truly unpleasant to taste.

The Extra Fish Bar offers gluten-free dough upon request. I don't believe it caused any issues for me, as I didn't experience any problems.
