The Cornerstone Bakery Cafe - Ruidoso

Crazy slow service, they are extremely short staffed but the food was awesome! Worth the wait if you've got about an hour for breakfast.

Very disappointed with my visit today. Took 15 minutes to get my drink and 45 minutes for a chicken salad sandwich with a bag of chips. That was after walking up to find out why it was taking so long, others that came in after me were being served, and being told there was a new chef. After all of that the sandwich was terrible. A warm, greasy croissant, watery chicken salad and not worth the $50 plus $20 extra tip I gave to support Ruidoso. I will commend the manager for coming over quickly and offering to comp the meal. I love this city, didn't want a comp, nor did I take it, and hope my future experiences are better.

Everything looked good; however, I was looking for a pastry with cinnamon overload and found none. Was disappointed and walked out empty-handed.

You order before you sit! The food and pastries are phenomenal! The service was fast and friendly! Parking: Parking is in the back!

We have been going to the Cornerstone since it was in their original location. They actually did our daughters wedding cake in 2011. But when they changed their format during covid...and kept that format we have quit going. We were there in March and felt rushed to order because there were people behind us. You no longer can sit at a table and look through the menu and order. You have to order as you walk in and we prefer to go to a place where we can sit down, look thru all the options and order. Love the place but it does not work for us anymore. But we wish them the best.
