Bidra med feedbackA walloping good time if you don’t care much about your golf game. Truly ranks as the worst maintained course I’ve ever played. But the wild horse and elk droppings, plus the wooly greens made it all very comical. It has potential if someone cared about maintaining it. Doubt if we return.
Do NOT waste your money. This is literally the worst golf course I have ever seen. Looks like a patch of weeds. The greens aren’t even greens. This course was nice about 7 years ago. Now it is horrible. What a waste.
The fairways were not cut and the greens also were not cut. Hard to tell where the tee box was on some holes. For a course in Ruidoso, a major tourist location, this course should be much better than that.
If you’re looking for a relaxing golf experience, this is the place to go. We only played the back nine and I only had to pull out my driver for two holes. It was great! The fairways aren’t great but you can hit off of them. I’ve definitely seen worse. The greens are patchy and a little soft, but it makes for easy putting. If you’re looking for something majestic, this is not the course. But if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing and stress free round of golf, hit this place up.
Caution- This course is for non serious golfers. Putt-putt fans who chop at the ball, while packing their dog and a blaring boom box in their golf cart, without considering others who are trying to play a real game of golf. By the way, watch out for the whiplash you’re likely to endure from the hundreds of potholes on the dilapidated cart paths. Really?! Cree Meadows- if you want to increase revenue, how about setting the bar higher? Invest in landscaping, golf dress codes (no flip flops, etc), no pets on the golf course (obviously), and enforce the rules of golf with a marshal. This is what draws serious high-paying golfers. Expensive investment? Yes but once the course is of competitive quality, serious golfers will come and the funds will roll in. But if left stagnant, it will slowly become an overgrown goat ranch. So sad.
