Rusk Donut Shop

The plain glazed donuts are excellent, and the jalapeño kolaches are quite good. My family loves the apple fritters, although I think they could use a bit more apple.

I visited the drive-thru and found that the worker only partially opened the window while chatting on her earbud with someone else, leaving us in an awkward waiting situation. When she finally took our order, she appeared bothered by our presence. After she took our credit card, my husband inquired about our total, and she rolled her eyes, pointed to the register, and walked away. The food was good, but the unwelcoming atmosphere makes us hesitant to return.

I checked the prices of the items before ordering, but when I received the bill, I was charged $2 more than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told, "If you don't want it at that price, I can sell it to someone else." This is extremely unprofessional. I will never return to this restaurant.

Best donuts I've had in awhile, they are just right. Fresh coffee and cold drinks and friendly employees. I go almost every weekend and will continue to do so!
