Coach Horses - Ryedale

Whenever I have dined at this restaurant, I have been pleasantly surprised by the variety of food options available for me as a vegetarian with celiac disease. Many of the dishes I have enjoyed were not listed on the menu, but the staff were very accommodating and eager to cater to all dietary needs. The food has been consistently delicious during each visit.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. They have a good selection of wine and beers. Definitely worth a visit.

They agreed to accommodate our party of 16, but one family received their dinner 25 minutes before the rest of us. The gravy was watery, the mashed potatoes were lumpy, and the side dishes came out 10 minutes before the main courses, making them cold by the time the rest of our food arrived. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Amazing!!! We arrived on holiday on Good Friday and went their on the off chance we could get a table. It was 4pm and there were 8 of us. 4 adults, 4 kids. By 5pm we were seated. The food was amazing. All freshly prepared. The Manager who is also currently the chef was fantastic as were the staff. We couldn't fault the food and the kids even provided a round of applause. We enjoyed it so much we returned on our last night (thursday) and had an equally good meal. It was very relaxed and we felt very welcome even with 4 kids (ages 9 down to 4). We would definitely return and thoroughly recommend.

The food was basic and nothing special. The desserts were awful completely tasteless! We waited all week to go to this pub as it only opens from Fri-Sun. If this is the standard of the food then maybe that is why! Seriously go and eat at Ham and Cheese and see the quality of their food and service to get some tips. We wish we had chosen a different place to eat for our last day on holiday!
